So today was a rainy day … and not the fun kind of rainy day that makes you think of Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds either. It was cold and wet and I got splashed on by a car as I was crossing the street to campus … ugh! On the bright side, I finally got a chance to play with the book bag I bought in France.
I bought this book bag to use when I was traveling with a friend through Italy … backpacking as it were (except we rode trains, planes, buses, and ferries … although my friend did hitch hike at one point and we did stay in hostels … anywho). The point is, you know how some jackets have the hidden hood that rolls up inside the collar? Well, my book bag has an awesome little raincoat that rolls up inside a pocket and I’d almost totally forgotten about it until today! I was carrying my laptop around today, so it was really nice to have the little raincoat to protect it! Ingenious!
