Ah Turkey Day … I miss you already! Stuffing … pumpkin cheesecake … mashed potatoes … did I mention stuffing? Unfortunately for us this year, I’m pretty sure my mama made the stuffing according to the “in the bird” directions instead of the stove top directions … meaning that it puffed up in our stomachs after we’d eaten it, haha! Oops!
Still, it was a fun break. I didn’t get as much research done as I would have liked, but then again, as a perfectionist, I rarely do. I did get a little farther in my Enterprise research and got a good start on my Honors research project on Will Ferrell movies. It was also nice to hang out with the my grandparents, kooky as they are. We went hiking (sort of) and saw my Grandma Bunny’s favorite tree and walked around Fort Loudon (in Tennessee). Strangely enough, I also really enjoyed spending some time with my dog, Lexi. I mean, I love her and I miss her a lot of the time, but usually she is so spastic on vacations that I soon STOP missing her, haha. I guess maybe this year she finally realized that she shouldn’t run around the grandparent’s house like a crazy!
Oh, and did I mention that being back at school is exhausting?!
