As far as advice goes, I find it really helpful to look for patterns of similarities between English and French (after all, the Norman Invasion and all that, haha ...). A lot of French words are quite similar to some of our more formal English words. If you read a lot and have a large vocabulary in English, you'll find that really helpful. I haven't seen that show, but I've been hearing good reviews! Maybe I'll have to try and catch it sometime! Well, I obviously love French so I’m a little biased.
